“I recently travelled through India, and really wanted to have a camel ride in Jaisalmer. I was recommended to go with Karan Desert Safari..I was not disappointed. The camel safari was really good in the sand dunes, in the middle of the peaceful Thar desert. The helpful staff cooked us lovely food on an open fire, and we sat watching the beautiful sunset, and later gazed up at the starry sky, chatting around the camp fire. I slept on a comfortable mattress in a tent. Karan also arranged for me to go to an evening of entertainment, at a gorgeous desert resort. We travelled by air conditioned car at dusk and watched the traditional Rajasthani musicians and the wonderful dancing gypsy girl twirling around with a huge pot on her head. We all got up and danced with her later, which was really fun! I would recommend this company for a really authentic desert experience.”
